16 days 15 nights Explore Thailand & Cambodia
This tour allows you to see more parts of Thailand and Ancient Kingdom of Cambodia, the culture, food and local life. We start our trip in the metropolis of Bangkok then travel to 'Kanchanaburi' (well-khown as River Kwai City). The journey continues in the culturally rich north until we reach the border province of 'Chiangrai'. You will then spend a couple of days in the vibrant city of 'Chiangmai’. We will then travel to Cambodia, the Ancient Khmer Kingdom & Angkor Wat, one of the 'Seven Wonders of The World'. This splendid, beautiful and very large city is a UNESCO World Heritage historic site which tells the story of the Khmer Empire and its glorious dominance of the region from AD 800-1200.
Day 1 Arrival in Bangkok (Pick up from any airport in Bangkok is included)
Arrival in Bangkok, transfer to your hotel, the rest of the day is free leisure time.
Day 2 Explore Bangkok
Meet your Tour Director and start your city tour of Bangkok. In the morning, drive through Bangkok’s China town and flower market. Visit the remarkable Wat Pho, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bangkok. Afternoon is free leisure time or take the opportunity to visit the Royal Grand Palace. Welcome dinner at your hotel or restaurant tonight.

Day 3 Bangkok Free Day
Free day at your leisure time; or choose to take a boat onto the Chao Phraya River and travel down into the canals of Bangkok where you will see rural Bangkok life where traditional wooden stilted houses still exist. See how local Thais really live, go back into the past, visit this secret forgotten part of Bangkok. Then enjoy creating and tasting your own cooking!

Day 4 Bangkok-Damnornsaduak Floating Market-Kanchanaburi
Journey outside Bangkok to Kanchanaburi via Damnornsaduak Floating Market. The market is interesting and chaotic but it is the biggest traditional floating market remaining in Thailand. After our break at the floating market we drive to Kanchanaburi, the city of the 'River Kwai'. Visit the War Museum and then the famous “Bridge over The River Kwai” before check into your hotel.
Day 5 Kanchanaburi - Free day
Free day at your leisure time; or an optional activity to Hellfire Pass Museum and ride a train along the death railway of World War II.

Day 6 Kanchanaburi - Ayutthaya - Phisanulok
Depart in the early morning, today we drive toward the ancient city of Ayutthaya a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit ancient temples in Ayutthaya, the old capital of Thailand. Lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your journey to overnight in Phitsanulok.

Day 7 Phisanulok - Sukhothai Historical Park - Chiangrai
Visit at Sukhothai Historical Park in the morning before driving to Chiangrai the most-northern province of Thailand. Evening check into your hotel and free at leisure.
Day 8 Chiangrai - Maesai Border - Golden Triangle
After your breakfast drive up to the most-northern part of Thailand at the Maesai Border *Opportunity to cross border to Burma (Myanmar) please check with your Tour Director for this activity*. Lunch at a local restaurant then continue to the Golden Triangle for a cruise along the Mae Khong River with a visit to the Opium Museum.

Day 9 Chiangrai - Chiangmai
Depart Chiangrai for Chiangmai this morning. Your lunch today will be the signature dish of Thai Northern Noodle 'Khaosoi' in Chiangmai, In the afternoon visit the Gems Factory and Thai Silk at Sankhamphang Industry Village. Your evening is free at your leisure or you can visit the Chiangmai Night Market.

Day 10 Chiangmai - Free day
Have an easy free day in Chiangmai; or do an optional activity visit at 'The Elephant Retirement Place’. This amazing opportunity allows you to learn about the Asian Elephant and have an interaction with these rescued giants.

Day 11 Chiangmai - Monk Chat - Doi Suthep Temple
Begin the day with a ‘Monk Chat Session’ and meditation then take a trip uphill to one of the most sacred Buddhist temple in the north of Thailand 'Wat Phra That Doi Suthep'. Visit at Orchid Jade Factory on the hill beside the temple before heading down and back to Chiangmai city. Late afternoon and evening is a free leisure time.
Day 12 Fly from Chiangmai - Siem Reap (Cambodia)
Breakfast at hotel, free at your leisure until transfer to Chiangmai Airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. After arrival at Siem Reap Airport, then transfer to your hotel in Siem Reap and check in. In the evening, you will have a special dinner with Khmer Traditional Apsara Dance (performance of Classical Cambodian Ballet)

Day 13 Full day explore Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom - Bayon - Thaprom Temple
Today our tour begins at a holy city and temple complex of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, the masterpieces of Khmer Empire between AD 800-1200. The Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom are designated as one of the "Seven Wonders of the World". The city temple complex sprawls across an area of roughly six by 16 miles. Visit the Elephants Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to the Bayon Temple the highlight of Angkor Thom, another icon of Khmer history, it is known for the hundreds of gigantic stone carved-faces on the towers. Then continue your visit to the stunning Angkor Wat, the highlight of the day. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu gods. You will explore the bas-relief carvings throughout the temple. Angkor Wat is a world famous temple complex known for its beauty and splendour. You will then take a break for your lunch before visiting the jungle temple 'Ta Phrom' that afternoon.

Day 14 Ox-card Ride - Tonle Sap Lake - Angkor National Museum
After breakfast, depart to the farming area outside Siem Reap and experience an ox-card ride. Ox-cards still to this day are used daily by local Cambodian farmers. After the ox-card activity, we drive to Tonle Sap Lake. Tonle Sap means 'Great Freshwater Lake', it is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. We will cruise along the lake and discover the near by floating village where you will observe real Cambodian local life. See and learn how the average Cambodian lives and survives on the water. This experience will leave you with a life time of memories.
After a serene boat ride, we return to city for lunch. After lunch we continue to the Angkor National Museum. We will learn about the history and the cultural heritage of the khmer golden age.

Day 15 Siam Reap - Bangkok
After breakfast, free leisure time until your departure to Siem Reap Airport for return flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport, transfer to your hotel and rest of day is free at leisure.

Breakfast - Bangkok Airport Transfer. Please check for your Airport Transfer schedule with your Tour Director. (We will provide transfer to Suvannaphumi Airport or to Donmuang Airport only)
